Ingredients
- 2 lb - Beef round
- 1 tbsp - Paprika
- ½ tbsp - Onion powder
- 1 tbsp - Brown sugar
- ½ tbsp - Cayenne pepper flakes
- ½ tbsp - Garlic powder
- ½ tbsp - Ground black pepper
- ½ cup - Soy sauce
- ½ cup - Worcestershire sauce
- ½ cup - Kentucky Straight Bourbon whiskey
- Apple & Hickory wood chunks
Preparation
- Mix all the ingredients except the beef into a bowl;
- Cut the beef roast into thin slices of about 1/8 to 1/4 inches thick, then put the beef slices into the marinade and let them marinate in the fridge overnight;
- Remove the beef slices from the marinades and pat them dry using paper towels;
- Smoke for about 5 to 7 hours at 180°F using apple and hickory wood chunks.
