Ingredients
Chicken Wings
- 20 Chicken wings
- ¼ cup - Olive oil
Dry rub
- 1 tbsp - Cane sugar
- 1 tbsp - Smoked paprika
- 1 tsp - Salt
- 1 tsp - Garlic powder
- 1 ½ tsp - Black pepper
Orange Habanero BBQ Sauce
- ½ cup - Brown sugar
- 2 tbsp - Butter
- ½ cup - Orange marmalade
- ¼ cup - Habanero hot sauce
- ⅔ cup - White vinegar
- ⅓ cup - Water
- 1 tbsp - Tomato paste
- ¼ tsp - Freshly grated ginger
- 1 tsp - Garlic powder
- 1 tbsp - Molasses
- 1 tsp - Salt
- ½ tsp - Black pepper
- ½ tsp - Liquid smoke
Preparation
- Preheat your grill for indirect;
- Brush the chicken wings with olive oil;
- Combine all Dry Rub ingredients and apply on both side of the chicken wings;
- Place the chicken wings over direct heat for 2 minutes per side, then move to indirect and close the lid; Cook for 20 minutes at 350°F;
- Combine all Orange Habanero BBQ Sauce ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil for 5 minutes;
- Brush the chicken wings with the Orange Habanero BBQ Sauce and let cook for another 5 minutes; Remove from the grill and serve.
