This is dense and powerful Cornas, but has tremendous balance and harmony as well. We’d call it a “modern” style, with rich, hedonistic character, packed with blue/black fruit and mineral, pepper... An excellent buy at its NORMAL price, today, boy, if you love serious Syrah, this is the ticket. Jean-Pierre and Helene Mucyn studied oenology in Beaune and started the Domaine Jean-Pierre Mucyn in 2001. Today, the estate covers nearly 45 acres in the appellations of Crozes-Hermitage, Saint-Joseph, Cornas, and IGP Collines Rhodaniennes. MMMMM…we can STILL taste it!
