We love POE’s new releases (usually highly allocated to restaurants), but especially the Manchester Ridge, up in Anderson Valley, aka pinot paradise!! If you love perfumey, floral and beautifully detailed pinot noir, you’ll want to get more than you think! Samantha Sheehan founded POE in 2009 after being inspired by the wines she tasted in Burgundy and Champagne. Her goal isn't to copy Burgundy, but rather to create vineyard specific, alluring and ageworthy wines. There is minimal intervention and never any additives. Each wine produced is made in very limited quantities and sold directly to high-end restaurants. What a gastronomical wine this is! A fine match for rotisserie chicken or pork loin! We wish we had more...while it lasts!
