You might recognize winemaker Helen Keplinger from when she was featured on the front page of the Wine Spectator, or from her work at Bryant Family, Kenzo, Grace Family, Carte Blanche or from her own label Keplinger. But most people probably haven’t heard of Waterfall…of course, with 140 cases made of their Proprietary Blend, it’s no surprise.
Boris Guillome is a 20+ year wine industry veteran, having worked in some of California’s best wine establishments. In 2013, he decided that his next challenge would be to create his own label, so he hired Helen Keplinger as his winemaker and set out to find exceptional sites and the best fruit possible. These wines are pure, focused and spectacular.
For all-the-time drinking, at our spectacular price, we can’t imagine a better deal...seriously, if you're not already snagging a case, we might not know how to help you. Trust us on this one! This is gloriously ripe and deep, with the kind of complexity you can only find in gnarled old vines from Napa Valley. This wine is a monster! Mouthcoating blackberry and cherry flavors packed with purple flowers, sweet tobacco, cedar shavings, cigar box and some blueberry too. Intense from start to finish, this is not for the faint of heart...nothing wimpy about this Napa blend.
